An original production background from the Filmation Studios animated series, "The Adventures of Superboy" (1966-1968). Featuring a gorgeous tropical coastline, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode entitled, "Superboy Meets Mighty Lad" which aired on September 21, 1968. Measuring 10.5"x38.25" overall, the background is in very good condition with minor surface and edge wear.
