A production cel and matching production drawing from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring the furious altered Beast fighting against one of Fabian Cortez's Hounds, the hand-painted cel and graphite drawing were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season five episode titled "The Fifth Horseman," which aired on February 8, 1997. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7"x10.25", the cel and drawing are in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The paper has slight discoloration. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
